Start with an assessment

Understand what’s changed. Build a personalised way forward.

An in-clinic consultation combines assessment, clear discussion and, where appropriate, an initial treatment experience. You do not need to decide which technology or programme you need before attending. The purpose of the appointment is to understand your presentation and identify the most appropriate next step.

What the appointment may include

Assessment first, recommendation second.

Review of your completed history and erectile-function questionnaires
Discussion of changes, goals, confidence, medications, surgery and general health
Appropriate non-invasive pelvic health assessment and education
Clinical explanation of likely contributing factors
An initial treatment experience where clinically appropriate
A clear plan for clinic-based care, home optimisation or a combined pathway

Your appointment may involve one initial Vertica Pro session followed by a Vertica Sync home pathway. It does not commit you to a course of clinic treatments.

Tools that may form part of the pathway

Each of these is a possible tool, not a package you have to buy.

Vertica Pro

In-clinic radiofrequency treatment that may be used as an initial or periodic part of an erectile-function pathway.

Vertica Sync

A home-based option for suitable men who want to continue structured self-optimisation between or instead of regular clinic visits.

Focused shockwave therapy

A non-invasive modality that may be considered where tissue responsiveness and vascular factors are relevant.

PelviPower

Fully clothed pelvic floor stimulation and training that may support awareness, coordination, strength or tone optimisation where appropriate.

Rehabilitation and collaboration

Pelvic health physiotherapy, lifestyle optimisation and collaboration with your doctor or other health professionals.

Example pathways

Examples of how care can be shaped, not prescriptions.

Example 1

One assessment and one Vertica Pro experience, then Vertica Sync at home, with support as needed.

Example 2

Assessment, then a focused clinic programme, then transition to home maintenance.

Example 3

Comprehensive assessment, then combined Vertica, shockwave, PelviPower and home or partner work where appropriate.

Common questions

Not necessarily. Assessment is explained before anything is done, is only performed where it is likely to change your care, and always requires your consent.
