PelviPower Bio-Feedback Trainer

Learning how to use your pelvic floor more effectively.

Successful rehabilitation isn’t simply about making muscles stronger. It also depends on learning how to activate them correctly, relax them when appropriate, and coordinate them during everyday activities.

The Bio-Feedback Trainer provides real-time visual feedback, letting you see how your pelvic floor is working while you remain fully clothed, transforming exercises from guesswork into guided motor learning.

It’s one of several evidence-informed tools that may become part of your personalised rehabilitation programme.

Why it might be recommended

One of the biggest challenges is knowing whether you’re using the right muscles.

Many people unknowingly contract the wrong muscles, use excessive effort, hold their breath or struggle to relax their pelvic floor.

The Bio-Feedback Trainer provides immediate visual feedback, helping you understand how your muscles are working and allowing your physiotherapist to coach more effective movement patterns.

Our goal isn’t simply to prescribe exercises. It’s to help you perform them correctly.

What it helps optimise

Pelvic floor awareness
Muscle activation
Muscle relaxation where appropriate
Coordination and timing
Exercise technique
Neuromuscular learning

Who may benefit

Not everyone will benefit, which is why assessment always comes first.

What happens during treatment

Treatment is performed while you remain fully clothed. A highly sensitive external sensor detects pelvic floor activity and displays it on screen in real time.

You’ll be guided through gentle contractions and relaxation exercises while watching how your muscles respond, allowing your physiotherapist to coach and refine technique.

Many people are surprised by how much easier it becomes to control their pelvic floor once they can actually see what it’s doing.

Our treatments don’t compete with each other. They complement each other.

This treatment is rarely the entire solution. Depending on your assessment, your personalised programme may also include:

Is it right for you?

Every recommendation begins with understanding.

You don’t need to know whether this is the right treatment for you. You simply need to know you’d like something to change. Together we’ll identify what’s holding you back and build a personalised pathway forward.
